Preheat oven to 425°F.

In a large bowl, whisk together breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, maple syrup, salt and pepper. Add ground beef and mix until just combined.

Using a cookie scoop, spoon 2 tbsp meat mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F).

Meanwhile, add bourbon to a skillet and cook until reduced by half. Whisk in cornstarch and add remaining ingredients and cook for 10-15 minutes on low.

Remove meatballs from the oven and pour sauce on top. Enjoy!
